Today you can see the work of a graphic designer everywhere. Wherever we are, we are surrounded by various signs, advertising posters and banners, decorated showcases and product packaging.
The profession of graphic designer has many different directions, such as:
- development of logos and corporate style (identity);
- creation of icons (conventional icons) and icons;
- typography (development of fonts and their outlines);
- promotional announcements;
- advertising graphics: business cards, flyers, banners, etc;
- infographics (a graphic way to quickly present information);
- development of packaging and merchandise (products with some kind of symbolism);
- room styling;
A graphic designer can specialize in only one direction, or he can combine several of them.
Sometimes the profession of graphic designer is confused with the web designer, but it is not the same. A web designer deals exclusively with the design of objects that exist and work on the Internet.
These include websites, mobile applications, electronic banners, and email newsletter templates. This includes user interface design.
